1997 Land Rover Defender 90 was started at another shop and was brought to Bonez Garage
when the other shop
moved to a new location out of state.
This is something very different for us in that it is an English vehicle and it also is fully computerized so she will be a bit of a challenge for us but the customer refuses to give it to any other shop but Bonez Garage to be worked on and those are his words.

1997 Land Rover Defender 90 is in the shop for a complete frame off Restoration. 1997 Land Rover Defender 90 we are bringing you underneath and showing you what we are up against on this restoration. We are showing you some of the good and some of the bad.
1997 Land Rover Defender 90 we have started the restoration on her and have removed the front clip, roll cage, etc.
1997 Land Rover Defender 90 and we now have almost the whole body off all that is left is the bulkhead and the seat base. We will then start removing the drivetrain from the old frame while we wait for the new frame to come in.
1997 Land Rover Defender 90 and the body has been completely removed from the chassis and we are now ready to remove the drivetrain from the frame. We are waiting on the new frame to come in so we can send everything out to sandblast and powdercoat and all of the body to Wicked Truck Worx for paint.
1997 Land Rover Defender 90 is almost completely broken down into her individual components all that is left are the axles, suspension, transfer case, transmission and motor.
1997 Land Rover Defender 90 the motor, transmission and transfer case are out of the chassis and the chassis is now ready to have her suspension and axles removed so we can Start rebuilding everything.
1997 Land Rover Defender 90 we now have the frame, most of the running gear and the suspension back from sandblast and powder coat. We are starting to put this little girl back together again.
1997 Land Rover Defender 90 we have started installing the front and rear suspension and axles. This is the start of the build, we have a lot of work ahead of us, a lot of parts that are on order and have to come to us from across the pond but we are excited about this build she is going to be a sweet truck.

1997 Land Rover Defender 90 is going great. The chassis is coming together nicely and looks great, we are setting up the new seat box covering up holes we don't need and making new holes that we do need, we also have the engine back from the machine shop and are going to get it ready for paint.
1997 Range Rover Defender 90 now has her fully rebuilt powertrain painted aluminum and looks great.
1997 Range Rover Defender 90 has her motor back in place. Still a lot to do but it looks so great all clean, bright and shiny sitting on the that beautiful chassis.🤓
1997 Range Rover Defender 90 we not only have the motor in but we also have the transmission and transfer case in her as well. The drivetrain is looking so good.
1997 Land Rover Defender 90 has come a long way and is looking beautiful. Most of the drivetrain is in, the suspension is in, most of the braking and the fuel system is in. We will be setting the bed on next but we are still waiting on the bulkhead and the doors to come in to test fit them to the rest of the body and frame.
1997 Range Rover Defender 90 the bulkhead finally came in after 3 months of backorder and we have it in place but are still waiting on the doors. We are now starting the mock up of the body.
1997 Range Rover Defender 90 we are starting her dress fitting...😂... the mocking up of the new and old sheetmetal and a bunch of other parts. Then we will have to take her all apart again then put her back together again and then take her apart again and so on to make sure all of the parts and pieces will play well together because paint is the next step...😮😂🤬😜...
1997 Range Rover Defender 90 we have started restoring the wire harness, we also finally got the drivers door in but are still waiting for the passengers door, the new A/C system is being test fitted in the truck and a few other odds and ends have been done. Check out the video to see.
